I stepped out of my comfort zone this week with the current Get Sketchy sketch.
My card did not turn out like my mind pictured it, but I don't hate it.
This week's sponsor is BMused Etsy shop with a cute belt buckle up for grabs, so you'll want to play along. Just use the above sketch and link you card up here.
I chose this card's color scheme from the Neutrals Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week in the Moxie Fab World.
I've also entered it into the Tuesday Throwdown distressing challenge.

I like this card Summer. I also know what you mean by when you have a picture in your mind and then your finished product is something completely different. Sometimes we like it even better. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteHi Summer! Beautiful card--love the colors, the big flower and that gorgeous flower center. Thanks for stopping by my blog to say HI. The rainbow paper you asked about is from Sassafras's Serendipity line. That particular sheet is called Promises (Item # 11263). :)
