Prima's Secret

Prima has a secret about something HUGE. I have no clue what it could be, but coming from Prima, it's gotta be good. If you spread the word about it on your blog like I'm doing, you've got a chance at a $100.00 prize. Good luck!

Free Stuff

It's Friday, and that means there are lots of giveaways out there.

Scrapbook and Cards Today has a fabulous Bella Blvd. prize pack up for grabs. You've got until next Friday to leave your comment.

I just found this site this morning. Just Buggin' is a Cricut challenge blog... sounds like fun.... and they're having their first blog hop. There are secret prizes along the way, so you'll need to become a follower and leave a comment on every blog. Takes a little time, but it'll be so worth it. (ScrapTiffany found my blog through comments left on their blog hop, and now I'm on the DT. See? You never know what can happen.)

Holy Huge Giveaway, Batman! Check out this one and leave your comment before the weekend is over.

My Pink Stamper is giving away a Cricut cart. Don't know when the giveaway ends, so leave your comment NOW.

Have you been visiting Moxie Fab World and Paper Crafts every day this week? They have both had giveaways every day. So go now, leave a comment today and on the previous posts.

Teresa Collins' company blog has a sweet giveaway here.

The Scrapbook Trends blog is giving away a bunch of Spellbinders!!!! Ahhh! Hope I win this one.

I've been trying for months to win some awesome My Mind's Eye stuff because I just love their products. Here's a chance for you, too.

Go comment crazy, girls!

A Sweet Combination

Two of my newest favorites lately are Cosmo Cricket and PaperTrey Ink. Using them together is SWEET! I made this cutey card for two challenges.

The sketch came from Hand Stamped Sentiments, a new challenge blog run by Stampin' Up! demonstrators. The colors came from Embellish Magazine's color challenge. **Oops! I just saw that my color choices are nowhere near the colors in the challenge. I just wrote down pink, brown, blue and green.... guess I should have checked the colors in person again before creating. Oh well, I'm submitting it anyway :)

Supplies: CS (DCWV), patterned paper (Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday), stamps (Papertrey Ink Everyday Button Bits), ribbon and buttons (my stash)

I love discovering new blogs (with great giveaways). Thanks to my fellow ScrapTiffany DT member, Jackie for telling me about the Snobby Walrus, a new monthly kit club. They're also having a fun giveaway with some sweet new stuff. Hurry, it ends soon.
Oh, they are also looking for their very first Design Team. Get your application in by April.

My First Design Team Card

ScrapTiffany has announced this week's challenge: Wings. Sounds fun, huh? You should play along. Here's what I came up with.... my very first project as a Design Team Member!

It also fits the sketch from Pink Persimmon.

And it fits the Bo Bunny Card Challenge to use pink, aqua and red. The pink blooms are outlined in red, so I hope that's enough for the challenge.

Supplies: patterned paper (Bo Bunny Alissa), cardstock (DCWV), brads (Bo Bunny Alissa), chipboard dragonfly (Maya Road), paint (pewter and worn lipstick distress crackle paint, Ranger), Stickles (black and cotton candy, Ranger), sentiment (Cricut Jasmine cartridge)

It's been way too long since I told ya'll about all the great giveaways out there. I'm so sorry, and I promise to do a better job of spreading the word.

My fellow new design team member, Jackie, over at ScrapTiffany is celebrating her huge honor with a great giveaway on her own blog.

3 giveaways in 1 over at Joy's blog. Lots of Cricut stuff included, so hop over there before 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Hurry over to Dawn's blog for a cubbie giveaway. It ends Monday night.

Name the April kits over at Coordinates Collections by Thursday for a cool prize.

Check Scrapbook and Cards Today every Friday for a nice giveaway. It's a subscription this month.

There will be giveaways all week starting tomorrow at Moxie Fab World.

GOOD LUCK!

Exciting HUGE news

I'm on a Design Team!!!  Click on the link to check out the announcement.
This is a dream come true for me and one of my goals for this year... check!
ScrapTiffany does a challenge each week to inspire paper crafters. I cannot believe I get to be a part of that. I'm still a little shocked. This is TOO WILD!
My debut challenge will be posted on Monday, so be sure to check it out and give it a try. It's a fun one!

CPS #154

I got these cards done just in time for CPS #154. Whew! I love a good challenge and this one didn't disappoint.

I made this one for my nephew who turns 10 in a couple days.

Supplies: patterned paper (Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend); sentiment (PTI)

And one of my three curly-topped nieces is turning 7 in a couple weeks.

Thanks to my friend Jeanette for suggesting to put the "7" on there. It was missing "something" without it.

Please come back tomorrow to hear about my exciting, dream-come-true news!

My Valentine's valentine

Just wanted to share the valentine I gave my husband this year because I really like how it tuned out. My hubs builds furniture as a hobby so I knew these screw brads and the wood grain paper would be fun to use.... until I tried to stick a kajillion brads through one little paper heart. Then I had the brilliant idea to cut off the prongs and apply the brad "heads" with glue dots. Much better!! I'm not gonna tell you what the inside says, but you'll get a good clue when you consider what the heart is made of... But I wasn't THAT tacky.

Supplies: woodgrain patterned paper (DCWV), black CS (Stampin' Up!), rub-on (7 Gypsies), ribbon (Cosmo Cricket). I also used the Opposites Attract cartridge for the title

I'll have some VERY exciting news to share on Sunday. Can't wait!

Taintor-tude

The current challenge over at Moxie Fab World is so out of my natural style, but that's what is so great about challenges. You're forced to try something new. Here's my tribute to Anne Taintor:

I feel this card needs something more. More dimension/layers, more embellishments? With the image being so large, it didn't leave much room for anything else. And I had a tough to time finding an image. All in all, this was a neat challenge, so I'd like to give it another try. We're supposed to get another 10 inches of snow in the next couple of days (we received more than 2 ft. over the weekend), so if my power stays on this time, I might be able to do some crafting. Hope you're staying warm.

Holy Rockin' Deal, Batman!

Stopped by my beloved Michaels today and found some TREASURE in the clearance aisle. If you're a Cosmo Cricket lover, you might want to sit down.

That's the Earth Love/the Boyfriend Double Deck and the Girl Friday/Everafter Double Deck. AND....
This is an Anna Griffin gold and silver Christmas pack, but so many of the designs are not Christmas specific.
Did you see the price tag?
Yes, I'm serious. Each pack was only $4!!! Why are you still reading this? Run to your Michaels and check their clearance section. I hope yours has them, too. DCWV's Music stack was $4 and there were a bunch of Martha Stewart packs for $6, too. For my local buds, I went to the Springfield Michaels.

SCORE!
