Alright girls, get comfy, grab a drink and lock the door! We've got tons of giveaways to enter today. A huge thank you to Donna VW. She's shared a bunch more new giveaways with me. I think she has become a giveaway junkie, too. We're having a blast enabling each other. HA!

Simplicity will give a sweet commenter a $25 gift certificate to Papertrey Ink, Stampin' Up! or Stampin' Treasures. WOW! So generous.

Laurel's Place has a $15 gift certificate to Scrappin Sports Stuff up for grabs. Looks like she'll have giveaways all next week, so don't wait for me to tell you about it each day (since I don't blog every day).

PaperCrafts Connection has some stamp sets and a copy of their Holiday Cards mag up for grabs. Next week is the kickoff for World Card Making Day, which is on Sat, the 3rd, so Paper Crafts will have giveaways ALL next week. Again, don't forget to stop by each day.

Whew! That took a while, but it's worth it! Good luck everyone and have a great weekend.

Thursdays goodies

Thanks to my new friend (and mega talented papercrafter) Donna VW for telling about this site, The Pink Stamper. They're giving away Cricut's 100th cartridge called Winter Woodland.

Here's another "new to me" blog: write. click. scrapbook. has a neat giveaway of ebooks from Ella Publishing that can teach us all sorts of cool things. Check it out here.

The fabulous and amazing Ali Edwards is giving a spot in her upcoming online course to 3 lucky commenters. It's a 13-week class valued at $99 and will focus on scrapping photos from our family's history. I already won a seat from another blog (Sorry, I couldn't share that giveaway with you because I found it just 2 hours before it ended.), so I'd be thrilled if one of you could join me.

Paper Crafts gorgeous intern just got engaged!! She's looking for some wedding papercrafting ideas. Share yours and you can win a wedding stamp set.

The Cutting Above girls are giving away Cricut's Storybook cartridge. It's my current fave cart, so try and win it.

Probably shouldn't tell you about this one because I really want it, but Cosmo Cricket has a really great kit up for grabs.

One more new blog I found the other day (I'm always looking for the giveaways for us, girls!!)... Shabby Chic Silvia has some beeee-u-teeeee-ful scrappy things for someone.

Quite a handful for a Thursday, huh? See you tomorrow.. there's sure to be a bunch!

Around the House

I'm not sure about this one girls. I'm having to muster up some guts just to post it on here, not to mention link it to the Moxie Fab World blog. It's my entry into the Around the House contest. We had to make a project using a household item as its focus. Well, my imagination was grand, but the product isn't exactly what I had in mind. But I don't have time to do something else :( So here goes:

I think it looks a little TOO handmade. I formed the whisk myself with crafting wire and then wrapped black CS around it. The bowl was cut with my Cricut using the Paper Dolls collection, and I added some gingerbread Stickles. The patterned paper is from DCWV and punched with my Fiskars apron lace border punch. And, I wrote the phrase, "whisking you a happy day" with a white gel pen (obvious?? LOL). Oh, the kraft notecard is from Hero Arts.

Kinda Slow

Not too much happening today out there in giveaway land, but here are a few you need to check out:

PaperCrafts mag will give a sweet commenter a copy of this month's issue.

It's not clear if Bo Bunny is having a giveaway or what they'll give away, but it's better to be safe than sorry. ALL of their stuff is really pretty, so who wouldn't want to try and get some.

Sketchy Thursdays' giveaway today is soooo sweet. It reminds me of all those stick people stickers on the backs of cars. (Here's an idea: Cricut should come out with a stick people cartridge so we can cut our own out on vinyl. Yeah????)

You'll want to win this one over at Today's Giveaway. Gorgeous photo cards!!! Please note I'm only tell you about it because I get two extra entries for it... but I really don't want YOU to win. Hee hee.

My all time fave blog is at it again. Cath is giving away Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love. This is such a sweet line. I'm a huge fan of the dandelions.

Huh, I guess it's not a slow day after all. 5 giveaways ain't bad. I hope to have some projects to show you soon, too. Happy Monday.

Doubly Sketchy and more

Don't forget Sketchy Thursdays is still doing their daily giveaways. Yesterday's is an awesome background stamp from Unity. And today's giveaway is Cosmo Cricket paper. Woo hoo!!! I love their stuff.

Bo Bunny has a nice thank you gift to one commenter who spreads the word about their blog.

This looks like a great giveaway over at Ali's blog. It's a kit from BlueMoon Scrapbooking. When I saw this I gasped because I JUST placed an order with them 2 days before. My order was shipped that day and the owner called me the next day to thank me for my order. Nice customer service. I found them when I was searching for those awesome Heidi Swapp purse clips. Blue Moon had the best price (and had them in stock).

Hope you are enjoying the very last hours of this weekend. (I'm sick, so not too much to enjoy here...lol)

Sketchy Thursdays is still going strong with their giveaways. Today's is a totally useable stamp set from Unity Stamps.

Have I told you about Today's Give Away before? They have a giveaway every weekday!!! It's not craft related, but hey, it's free stuff. Today they're giving away a cute kids' belt... one they can "buckle" on their own. And you get extra entries for doing simple things. I've put in my 5 entries!

Paper Crafts mag has a fun little giveaway. It's for a layout kit from a recent CF fundraiser.

If I find more today, I'll be back to let you know.

grace abounds

Hero Arts had a fall colors challenge that ends in a few hours. I just made it in time. The challenge was to use at least one Hero Arts stamp and one of the 4 color combos they shared last week. I only have 3 HA stamps (which I won from them in random giveaways), so I was limited on what I could do. I was dying to use my new Crackle Paint color, peeled paint, so I started with chipboard. The HA stamp I used is a frame with a butterfly and sentiment inside. I stamped it in Versamark, embossed it in gold, and cut out only the frame to use under my chipboard. All the ribbon is from Maya Road and Cosmo Cricket (yes, I won the ribbon, too!) The inside paper is from a DCWV pad (got that the hard way.... with cash). I had no way of getting the words "in Him" and "abounds" onto the card (my printer is broken), so I hand-wrote it. I hope that doesn't ruin it.

MellyPea from Two Peas in a Bucket does her Warehouse Walk giveaway every Thursday. Hurry up and go here (deadline is Monday @ midnight), watch the video, leave your comment and be sure to check back to see if you won.

Operation Write Home giveaways

Cards for Heroes is now called Operation Write Home and they are celebrating their birthday with LOTS of giveaways. Check it out.

***Forgot to tell you all that you will want to make note of when these blogs will announce the winners. Most will NOT contact you, so you'll need to check the blog on the day the winners are chosen, and email them your address if you win. ***

Class for Scrapbookers.. Hurry!

Kelly Goree is giving away a spot in Sherry Steveson's online scrapbooking class about making great layouts even though you have bad photos. Leave a comment on Kelly's blog by Sunday at midnight telling her about your worst photo. The class starts on Wed. What a fun giveaway!! If you win the spot, you MUST share what you learn with us... I'm curious.

Freebie Fridays

Some of you know that I am the queen of winning scrapbooking stuff. I regularly visit tons of blogs that often giveaway free paper products. I thought it would be neat to feature these giveaways on my blog... to share the love!! So follow my blog and I will hook you up with major goodies. Click on the links I provide. Read the post and leave a comment. It's that easy. I win at least one prize a month, so if your name isn't randomly drawn the first time, don't fret! You WILL win eventually. Tell your friends to follow my blog, too. Everyone wants free stuff.

Making Memories is giving away one of their Desktop Carousels. Just tell them what your fave MM product is. Not sure what they make? Click on "products" in their side bar.
Scrapbook & Cards Today  has a huge giveaway from Creative Escape, a weekend scrap event featuring Heidi Swapp and Tim Holtz. These kind of prizes are my favorite because you don't know all the goodies you'll receive.
Creating Keepsakes is giving away some new Papertrey Ink releases.
Moxie Fab World will give a lucky girl a surprise box of delicious-ness.
Paper Crafts mag has some Halloween paper packs to send your way. Just tell them about your favorite childhood Halloween costume.

See? Super easy to win. Good luck!!

A new contest and a giveaway

So, I found out today that none of my projects won the Moxie Fab challenges, BUT my Classy & Elegant card got a mention as a Top 5 project (out of 89 entries). For my first challenge???? I'll take that. I WAS only a little disappointed that I didn't officially win, but am still on cloud 9 for being mentioned. Super SUPER cool! Oh, and if you leave a comment on this post, you could win a "moxie fab" prize.

I found this new challenge over at Two Peas. It runs for 4 weeks starting next week... a new winner each week receives a Cricut cart. Nice.

And Cricut is just giving carts away to celebrate their 100th cartridge. All you need to do is leave a comment under the post.

If you win any of these, come back and tell me. Good luck!

Reindeer Flying Dust

This is a tic tac container that I filled with 2 different colors of glitter to hopefully fool a child into thinking it's NOT glitter :) It's Reindeer Flying Dust of course! I thought it would be cute to give this to your child along with this letter:

Dear Audrey,
Because you are always on my nice list, I know I can count on you to keep this secret. Sometimes my reindeer get tired and cannot finish delivering all the toys. (We fly all over the world, you know.) This little bottle holds some special reindeer flying dust. Leave it out for me on Christmas Eve so I can sprinkle a little on Rudolph and his friends if they are feeling tired.
Remember: This only works on my reindeer, so don’t waste it on any puppies or goldfish.
Love,
Santa Claus

Wouldn't it be fun for your child to set this out for Santa next to his cookies and milk?

And find this on Christmas morning?

Paper is from MAMBI (I fussy cut the reindeer out.). The ribbon is from American Crafts. And the glitter is Martha's. Oh, I also used some Stickles on Rudolph's nose and ornaments.

BUSTED!!!

I haven't set up this blog to email me when I get comments, so I didn't know what I'd see when I popped on today. 18 followers?!?!?!?!? What in the world? I'm giggling hysterically like I did when I saw the plus sign on the pregnancy test 3 years ago. Someone let the cat out of the bag and said QueenBscraps sent her. I knew right away who the Queen B was.... did a little search on the Cricut board and there was her sweet message. Caught red-handed!!
Thank you, Britten for spreading the word (what a great friend I got!!!) and THANK YOU ladies for all your sweet comments. I am so humbled and a little embarrassed. And feeling some pressure to post some projects. Just what I need.
Thanks again for the welcome and encouragement.
